About 123Dentist

At 123Dentist, we’re redefining the future of dental care across Canada by empowering clinics with innovative technology, data-driven insights, and operational excellence. Our growing network of practices relies on strong digital infrastructure - and the people behind it.

About the Role

This isn’t a typical analytics leadership role. As Manager, Data Analytics & Insights, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy - leading a high-performing team of analysts and Power BI developers who turn raw data into decisions.

You’ll go beyond building dashboards. You’ll shape how the organization understands performance, challenge assumptions, and embed data-driven thinking across every function. From evaluating clinic performance to supporting acquisition due diligence and provider compensation models, your work will directly influence where the business goes next.

Your team will help answer some of the organization’s most important questions:

What does the data tell us? What’s missing? What does it mean for how we operate and grow?

If you’re a leader who thrives on turning complexity into clarity - and who wants to build something that matters - this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and Power BI front-end developers, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture
Own the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions that support strategic and operational decisions
Continuously assess the organization’s data landscape - what we have, what’s missing, and how to bring the right sources in at scale
Translate business objectives into analytical solutions, working closely with product managers and data engineering
Drive consistency in metric definitions, KPIs, and visualization standards across the organization
Partner with data engineering to ensure pipelines, data structures, and semantic models enable high-quality analytics
Identify opportunities where analysis, modelling, or new data products can support decisions across acquisition due diligence, clinic performance, patient retention, provider compensation, and more
Communicate compelling insights to senior leadership in plain business language that informs both strategy and day-to-day operations
Champion data literacy across the organization, influencing how teams use data in planning and decision-making
Support hiring, onboarding, and career development for the analytics team

What You Bring

Education & Experience

6+ years of experience in data analytics, strategy, or business intelligence, including time in a senior IC or leadership role
3+ years managing or leading data and BI teams
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and data visualizations that people actually use
Hands-on familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Azure, SQL, data lakes, or comparable environments)
Understanding of process transformation methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their practical application in a business analytics context

Skills & Attributes

You’re a people-first leader who knows how to motivate, coach, and grow analytics talent
You bring deep expertise in Power BI development, visualization best practices, and front-end analytics design
You translate complex data into clear, actionable insights - for both technical and non-technical audiences
You have a solid grasp of business processes and how to map and improve them
You manage multiple priorities without losing sight of quality or execution
You’re a natural collaborator who builds trust across teams and communicates confidently to senior leadership

Why Join 123Dentist?

Shape how a growing healthcare network uses data to drive performance and strategy
Lead a team doing meaningful, high-visibility work that reaches every corner of the organization
Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Be part of a collaborative, evolving Analytics & Data function with real room to grow
Help build a data-driven healthcare organization at scale
