How MovoJobs uses your information.

Your account and saved jobs

We use your email address to send login codes and manage your account. Essential cookies keep you logged in. Your account can be used across MovoJobs and our Local city sites. Saved jobs belong to your MovoJobs account.

Login codes expire after five minutes. We do not ask for a password. If you choose Save before logging in, your browser briefly remembers that job so it can be saved after login.

Job alerts

We store your email, search, frequency and confirmation record to send the alerts you request. An alert starts only after you confirm your email. Each email includes unsubscribe. Unconfirmed requests are removed seven days after their link expires; unsubscribed alerts are removed after 180 days. Delivery records help prevent repeat emails.

Messages and reports

We store what you send through our forms, including your email if provided, to answer your request or review a listing. Do not include a résumé, identity documents, or other sensitive information. Messages older than 180 days are removed during routine cleanup. A short-lived form cookie and a protected sender identifier help limit spam.

Nearby jobs

Cloudflare can suggest a city from your IP address when you open the location field. This is an approximate area, not your precise location. We do not save the detected city to your account. You choose whether to use it for a search.

How the site is used

We count searches, empty results, job views, application-link clicks, filter use and page-speed ratings by day and phone or desktop. We may group counts by a known role or place. We do not store free-text searches, email, account IDs or visitor identifiers in these counts. An anonymous date in your browser helps count visits on later days. We skip these counts when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Our hosting and account services may process technical information needed to run and protect the site. We do not sell your account details or use advertising trackers.

Applying for a job

Applications happen on another website. That site has its own privacy practices. MovoJobs does not receive your application or know whether you completed it.
