Original job description

Company Description 247 Labs is an award-winning Canadian technology company specializing in custom software development, web and mobile applications, AI-powered systems, and digital transformation. For over 13 years, the team has supported organizations in healthcare, finance, insurance, education, and other sectors to innovate and grow. With a 98% client satisfaction rate across more than 1,500 projects, 247 Labs is trusted by leading brands such as Motorola and the University of Toronto. The company focuses on delivering expertly engineered solutions that create a measurable positive impact for clients.

Role Description The Sales Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for managing client accounts, building long-term relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying new leads, conducting discovery calls, preparing proposals, and collaborating with technical teams to align solutions with client needs. The Sales Account Manager will track and report on sales activities, maintain accurate CRM records, and support contract negotiations. The role also involves resolving client concerns promptly, presenting new service offerings, and contributing to revenue growth targets.

Qualifications

Strong account management and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proven experience driving customer satisfaction through attentive communication and proactive issue resolution.
Lead generation and prospecting skills, including outreach, qualification, and pipeline development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations, negotiations, and internal collaboration.
Preferred experience in B2B technology, software, or digital transformation services.
Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, and coordinate with cross-functional technical and delivery teams.
Strong organizational, time-management, and CRM skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
Minimum 3 years of account management experience in a technology-related field - digital agency, SaaS, IT services, or software development environment strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage 15–25+ accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball on detail or relationships
Demonstrated track record of upselling and growing revenue within existing accounts
Experience using existing client relationships to open doors to new departments or companies
Comfortable working alongside technical teams - able to understand project delivery workflows and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients

Skills & Personal Attributes

High energy - you bring enthusiasm and momentum to every client interaction
Strong communicator - you connect with people quickly, build rapport naturally, and can adapt your style to any audience
Commercially minded - you think in terms of revenue opportunity, not just relationship maintenance
Highly organised - managing 20+ accounts requires exceptional attention to detail and disciplined follow-through
Collaborative - you work naturally alongside Project Delivery Managers and engineers, respecting delivery processes while championing the client’s voice internally
Proactive and entrepreneurial - you identify opportunities before clients ask and bring ideas to the table
Passionate about technology, digital products, and the impact great software can have on a business
Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and takes full ownership of their portfolio and targets
Must be based in Toronto, Ontario - this role requires local presence for client meetings and team collaboration
What We Offer
Competitive contract-based compensation with performance incentives tied to account growth and new revenue
Direct exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across North America
Collaborative and supportive team culture with a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Ongoing mentorship and direct involvement in shaping the agency’s commercial growth
Hybrid working arrangement based in Toronto
