Original job description

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada

Target Start Date: Immediate

Company Description 247 Labs is an award-winning Canadian technology company specializing in custom software solutions, web and mobile applications, AI-powered systems, and digital transformation. For over 13 years, the team has partnered with organizations in healthcare, finance, insurance, education, and other sectors to help them innovate and grow. Review our website for more details.

Role Description The Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Outbound is a full-time, hybrid role: remote / in-person role based in Toronto, ON. We are seeking an ambitious, competitive, and execution-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to serve as the tip of the spear for our sales engine.

In this role, you will report directly to sales leadership and play a critical role in driving pipeline growth. You will be responsible for executing high-velocity, multi-channel outbound outreach (phone, email, and social) to identify, engage, and qualify decision-makers at target accounts. Our operational benchmark is 15 qualified sales meetings completed per month. To ensure you hit and exceed this standard, we set your monthly goal at 20+ booked meetings, equipping you with top-tier lead lists, automated toolchains, daily coaching, and clear KPI targets to make achieving your numbers predictable.

Key Responsibilities

Execute Outbound Prospecting: Perform 60+ touchpoints daily across phone, direct email, and LinkedIn to generate interest with target executives and key stakeholders.

Pipeline Generation: Consistently book 20+ discovery calls/demos per month, ensuring an average of 15+ meetings complete successfully and meet qualification standards.

Qualify Prospects: Utilize strict qualification frameworks (BANT/MEDDPICC) during initial conversations to ensure prospective clients align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

CRM Integrity & Tracking: Maintain real-time activity tracking, detailed conversation notes, and accurate pipeline updates within our CRM (Salesforce / HubSpot).

Multi-Channel Workflows: Leverage modern sales engagement and prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo, GoHighLevel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to maintain continuous coverage across accounts.

Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with sales leadership to refine cold scripts, email templates, objection-handling strategies, and account prioritization playbooks.

Performance Expectation & Core KPIs

Primary Metric: 20+ Booked Meetings / Month (Target: 15+ Held/Completed Meetings)

Daily Activity Standard:

80 Calls per day (during structured call power blocks)

25+ Tailored Emails / Social Touches per day

Pipeline Quality: High demo-to-opportunity conversion rate through rigorous upfront qualification.

What We Are Looking For

1–3 Years of Outbound Sales Experience: Proven track record in B2B outbound prospecting, cold calling, and pipeline generation (SaaS or professional services experience preferred).

High Phone Comfort & Pitch Delivery: Ability to deliver a direct, peer-to-peer value proposition over the phone, navigate gatekeepers, and objection-handle on the fly.

Process-Driven Mindset: High discipline regarding power blocks, activity velocity, and CRM workflow hygiene.

Strong Written & Verbal Communication: Clear, concise tone capable of engaging VP- and C-level decision-makers.

Coachability & Drive: Hungry to learn, adaptable to quick feedback, and motivated by uncapped performance incentives.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary + performance-based variable commission (tied directly to held meetings and pipeline opportunities).

Clear growth path into Enterprise Account Executive or Sales Management roles.

Direct mentorship, daily call coaching, and structured sales playbooks to guarantee success.

Complete tech stack, automated lead routing, and enriched account lists so you spend your time talking to decision-makers, not hunting down phone numbers.
