We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect for a 1 year contract, onsite in Regina, to join a project as a leading consultant.
In this role you will:
- Provide security specialist/architect expertise with operational experience to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps.
- Help to bridge gaps between enterprise network engineering and information security, designing and securing hybrid, cloud, and on-premises network infrastructures
- The resource will help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk, and provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations.
- Design, build, and oversee secure network architectures, Zero Trust frameworks, and network security operations across enterprise and cloud environments
- Projects and support will include Cisco, Azure, network, storage, data center, server and related products. This should be from a security solution architecture perspective.
- Work closely with Network Operations Centers (NOC), Security Operations Centers (SOC), and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP)
- A background in operational administrative work in infrastructure (Server/Storage/Backup/Network administration) is nice to have
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity experience as a lead level/architect level consultant
- Strong experience in Network Security
- CISSP and similar certifications are nice to have
- Excellent communication skills
