Our Toronto based client is hiring SAP BW Development Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity.
Must Have
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP BW HANA project including architecture, modeling, ETL & Reporting. Extensive experience with BW/HANA objects (Advanced DSO's, Open ODS Views & Composite Providers).
- Proven track record in BW system upgrades, modernization initiatives, and greenfield/brownfield implementations. Possess deep understanding of SAP source systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc.)
- Participate in developing and executing unit and integration tests, analysing results and documenting test results. Support full lifecycle delivery activities, including prepare, high level design, post go-live support.
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture concepts and solid experience in writing technical specification documents, solution documentation, and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current SAP BW architecture and design scalable data models.
- Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Support migration activities (e.g., BW 7.x to Datasphere). Translate business requirements into well designed SAP Data solutions, build & evolve enterprise data warehousing solutions in SAP Datasphere including data products, semantic models and analytics consumption using BDC & SAC.
- Design and implement data flows between on-premise and cloud environments (e.g., BW to Datasphere, BW to AWS).
