Our Toronto-based client is hiring a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer for an 11-month onsite contract.
Must Haves:
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience supporting multiple environments and complex release processes.
- Experience developing tools, scripts, utilities, APIs, and automation using modern programming languages.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, platform services, networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
- Experience operating and supporting microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and cloud-based development tools.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, security controls, secrets management, and recovery.

Responsibilities
Design and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code across multiple environments and complex release processes. Develop automation tools and support Azure-based microservices, APIs, distributed applications, monitoring, security, incident response, and recovery.
Requirements
Requires strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services, networking, identity, monitoring, and security, as well as operating cloud-based applications and development tools. Candidates should also have experience with programming and scripting, source control, code reviews, testing, debugging, technical documentation, incident response, secrets management, and recovery.
