Our Toronto-based client is hiring a Software Developer – Back End – Senior for a 9-month onsite contract opportunity in Toronto, ON. This role requires 5 days onsite at 222 Jarvis Street.
Must Haves:
- Extensive experience with React, JavaScript, NextJS, Node.js, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Extensive experience with responsive development and HTML5.
- Extensive experience coding for mobile devices.
- 10+ years of experience developing applications compliant with PCI and WCAG 2.2 standards and achieving AODA compliance.
- Experience with JAWS, WAI-ARIA, and HTML5.
- 10+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-client web applications.
- 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience with Oracle or SQL databases.
- 5+ years of hands-on REST APIs and RESTful Web Services experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies

Requirements
Requires 10+ years of experience developing large-scale web applications and hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL databases, as well as 10+ years working with PCI and accessibility standards. Candidates must also have extensive experience with the listed front-end and back-end technologies, at least five years of REST API experience, and familiarity with microservices, Azure DevOps, and Agile.
