We are hiring a Business Development Representative to join our team!

ABOUT THE ROLE

3Common's sales motion is evolving fast. With AEs owning a growing pipeline of warm, engaged prospects, the bottleneck is now at the top-of-funnel - and that's where you come in.

As a BDR, your job is simple and focused: work a pre-built list of qualified venue operators and event hosts, run a tight outreach script, and hand off any interested contact to the AE team. No complex objection handling, no closing - just consistently creating the right conversations at the right time so the AEs can do what they do best.

This is an opportunity to get in early at a revenue-generating startup, learn the sales motion from the inside, and build a foundation for moving up into an AE role as the team grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Work a pre-built prospect list sourced through Apollo - venues, festivals, conferences, and more event hosts in our ICP

Run a consistent outreach script via phone and email - you know what you're saying, you say it well, and you say it a lot

Qualify interest and book meetings to hand off to the AE team - your job ends when a rep is looped in and the lead is booked for a meeting

Track your activity and handoffs accurately so the team has clean data to work from

Collaborate with the AE team to tighten the handoff process as the playbook evolves

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Someone with genuine hustle and a strong work ethic - you're comfortable with volume and repetition

Clear, confident communicator - on the phone and in writing

Organized and consistent - you can run a list and hit a daily cadence without needing hand-holding

Coachable and curious - you want to learn how sales actually works and you're willing to put in the reps

Comfortable in Winnipeg 3 days/week

Prior sales or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required - attitude and work ethic matter more here

NICE TO HAVE

Exposure to a CRM or dialer tool (Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Experience in hospitality, events, ticketing, or live entertainment

Prior BDR, SDR, or outbound sales experience

WHAT WE OFFER

Base: ~$50K + Commission: ~$15-$30k | 1st year On-Target-Earnings (OTE) = $65-80k

Variable comp based on: tiered commission on qualified handoffs, booked meetings, and closed deals - you're rewarded at each stage of the chain

Equity through the employee stock option plan (ESOP)
