Optimizing end-to-end data validation processes for sales compensation planning cycles and driving standard processes to ensure the highest quality of data flowing through Varicent, our Sales Performance Management platform.
Reviewing and reconciling incentive compensation data throughout the payout lifecycle, identifying discrepancies between plan configurations, attainment data, and calculated earnings.
Defining and enforcing business rules governing how data flows between source systems, staging environments, and the Varicent platform to maintain consistency at every handoff.
Collaborating with sales operations and finance teams to translate business requirements into clear data quality acceptance criteria for planning models and incentive structures.
Investigating and resolving data discrepancies by tracing issues through the full data lifecycle, from source extraction through transformation to final reporting outputs.
Supporting change management efforts during plan redesigns, organizational restructures, and system enhancements by validating data accuracy throughout the transition.
Driving continuous improvement of data quality processes by identifying patterns in recurring issues and recommending workflow or process enhancements.

Working experience with Varicent or similar sales performance management platforms, with a focus on plan configuration, data validation, and reporting workflows.
Strong understanding of sales planning processes including territory design, quota setting, crediting rules, and incentive plan structures.
Familiarity with data integration concepts and the ability to trace data through extraction, transformation, and loading stages.
Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using excel or other similar tools to support validation and reconciliation activities.

Additional preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Excellent attention to detail with a structured, process-driven approach to problem-solving.
