JOB SUMMARY:

The Branch Staffing Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and executing all staffing, onboarding, and administrative support activities for the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. This role serves as the central communication hub for teammates, leadership, and People Services, supporting the branch with timely information flow, documentation, and personnel assistance. Working closely with the Regional Warehouse Manager, this position ensures staffing processes, onboarding requirements, and internal communications are consistently implemented and aligned with organizational standards. The Branch Staffing Scheduler also supports branch engagement by organizing events, assisting with social media initiatives, and maintaining accurate, accessible administrative documentation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Coordinate and administer all Distribution Centre hiring activities, including resume screening, interview scheduling, and completing the Workday onboarding process for new teammates.
Lead the full Workday onboarding process to ensure new teammates are properly trained, supported, and documented, with all required payroll and People Services functions completed accurately.
Serve as a central support contact for centre teammates by addressing personnel needs, liaising with People Services, and helping maintain positive workplace communication.
Organize and execute branch events and assist with operations management coordination by way of meeting notes, scheduling, and task management
Maintain effective communication throughout the branch by posting announcements, updating communication screens, and distributing key operational documents.
Manage document control and document flow by coordinating with management and supervisory teams.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: High School/GED

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 1+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Any administrative certification considered an asset

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) to manage scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support teammates, coordinate with managers, and act as a branch communication hub.
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when processing hiring documentation, onboarding paperwork, and administrative records.
Solid understanding of basic HR and onboarding processes, including resume screening, interview coordination, and personnel file management.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Comfortable working with digital communication tools, HRIS systems, and display systems (e.g., Workday HRIS, communication screens, internal announcements platforms).
