*Job Summary* We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented *Supplement Writer *to join our busy auto body repair team. The ideal candidate understands the collision repair process, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with insurance companies, technicians and parts suppliers. As our Supplement Writer, you will be responsible for identifying additional damage and repair requirements that are discovered during the repair process, documenting those repairs accurately, and preparing and submitting supplements to insurance companies for approval. *Duties* * Inspect vehicles during the repair process to identify additional damage and required repairs. * Prepare accurate and detailed supplement estimates. * Take clear photographs and document all additional damage and repair procedures. * Research OEM repair procedures and manufacturer requirements when necessary. * Communicate with insurance adjusters to explain the supplements. * Work closely with technicians and estimators to ensure all necessary repairs are identified and documented. * Monitor supplement approvals and follow up with insurance companies as required. * Ensure repair plans are accurate, complete, and compliant with OEM and industry standards. * Update repair orders and estimating systems as changes are approved. * Help keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently and minimize repair delays. * Maintain accurate records and documentation. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in an auto body shop, collision repair, estimating, or supplement writing is strongly preferred. * Knowledge of collision repair procedures and terminology. * Experience with Mitchell estimating software is an asset. * Strong understanding of OEM repair procedures and insurance claims is an asset. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a busy shop team. * Ability to prioritize multiple vehicles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Professional and confident when communicating with insurance adjusters and other industry partners. *If you are organized, knowledgeable about collision repair, and take pride in getting the details right, we would like to hear from you.* Pay: $41,800.00-$72,800.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Work Location: In person
