Business Analyst – Core Banking / Payments | 6+ Years of Experience
Location: Scarborough, ON – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Type: Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience, exposure to Core Banking and/or Payments is a plus.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 2 years of experience within Banking or Payments
- Strong expertise in requirements analysis, documentation & system integration
- Experience documenting both business and technical requirements/specifications
- Hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence
- Experience with data mapping and data lineage across upstream and downstream systems
- Ability to translate requirements into clear, structured artifacts for development and implementation teams
- Experience managing requirements, user stories & tasks
- Experience supporting SIT & UAT, including test scenarios, requirement clarification and defect triage
- Ability to manage and align multiple business & technology stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
Analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements, user stories, and tasks for banking or payments systems. Support system integration and data mapping across upstream and downstream systems, and assist with SIT and UAT through test scenarios, requirement clarification, and defect triage.
Requirements
Requires at least six years of Business Analyst experience, including two years in banking or payments, with core banking or payments exposure considered a plus. Candidates should have strong requirements and system integration expertise, hands-on Jira and Confluence experience, and the ability to align business and technology stakeholders.
