Advancing Ethics. Strengthening Accountability.
AARUNI Inc. is a Canadian ethics consulting firm providing independent advisory services in ethics, compliance, corporate governance, and organizational accountability.
We examine the systems, structures, and practices that shape organizational behaviour, connecting ethical principles with practical action.
Your Experience Can Make a Difference
Have you witnessed wrongdoing? Raised concerns about unethical conduct? Experienced an institutional failure that deserves greater attention?
Through North Star, AARUNI Inc. is inviting whistleblowers and individuals with firsthand experience of organizational wrongdoing to express interest in joining our Ethics Officer Program.
We recognize the importance of people who raise concerns and the insights their experiences can bring to understanding ethical failures, governance weaknesses, and institutional accountability.
North Star seeks to connect individuals with relevant experiences to opportunities to contribute to AARUNI’s work in ethics, compliance, governance, and responsible organizational practices.
What You'll Contribute
Depending on the nature of the opportunity and your experience, areas of contribution may include:
- Examining ethical challenges and organizational misconduct.
- Contributing firsthand perspectives on whistleblowing and reporting processes.
- Identifying governance weaknesses and gaps in institutional accountability.
- Supporting research into ethical leadership, compliance, and responsible decision-making.
- Contributing ideas to strengthen organizational integrity and speak-up cultures.
- Supporting the development of practical approaches to ethical oversight and accountability.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome individuals with relevant firsthand experiences involving:
- Whistleblowing and ethical reporting.
- Corporate misconduct and suspected wrongdoing.
- Governance, compliance, and oversight failures.
- Retaliation following the reporting of concerns.
- Inadequate complaint-handling or internal investigation processes.
- Institutional transparency and organizational accountability.
Individuals from financial services, business, government, technology, and other sectors are encouraged to express their interest.
Mandatory Application Requirement
Applicants must include a dedicated section in their résumé describing the subject of their whistleblowing.
The section must briefly outline:
- The organization or general institutional context involved.
- The suspected wrongdoing or institutional failure reported or witnessed.
- The concerns raised and, where applicable, the organization's response.
Only applications containing this mandatory section will be considered.
What Happens Next
- Submit your résumé with the required whistleblowing experience section.
- Application review: AARUNI Inc. will assess relevant experience, qualifications, and potential alignment with the Ethics Officer Program.
- Further discussion: Selected applicants may be contacted to discuss their experience and potential contributions.
- Program consideration: Suitable candidates may be considered for relevant opportunities within AARUNI’s ethics and accountability work.
