Original job description

We are looking for an Electronic Security Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing electronic security projects from initial review through installation and project closeout.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare estimates, material take-offs, and labour requirements.
Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare project budgets and proposals.
Manage access control, CCTV, intercom, and other security projects.
Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
Order and track project materials.
Monitor project schedules, costs, and progress.
Attend site meetings and conduct site surveys when required.
Prepare and manage change orders.
Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning.
Manage deficiencies and project closeout.
Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other closeout documents.

Requirements

Experience in the electronic security / low-voltage industry.
Knowledge of access control and CCTV systems, entry systems, alarm and integration.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Experience with estimating and project management.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Knowledge of systems such as Genetec, Avigilon, RBH, Kantech, Axis, Hikvision, or similar is an asset.
PMP or related certification is an asset.

We are looking for someone who is organized, technically knowledgeable, and able to manage a project from estimating through final completion.
