Job Position: Practicum Coordinator

ABM College is currently looking for a highly competent, energetic, and exceptionally motivated Practicum Coordinator.

ABM College is one of the leading career training institutions in Alberta and Ontario. Throughout its history, ABM College has provided students with professional training, academic knowledge, and the right skill-set to meet employment market demands.

Essential Job Duties

Find practicum placements for the students and alumni.
Devise, organize and manage professional development strategies for the students and alumni, like job search strategies, resume writing (individual or group setting), and preparing for job interviews and others.
Establish linkages with community groups and agencies, businesses, industry and other organizations as potential employers.
Collect labor market information about job opportunities, skill requirements, and other occupational information.
Maintain accurate records of alumni's employment.
Perform general recruitment and administrative duties.

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor’s Degree graduate (HR, Social Work, Marketing, Psychology, Project Management).
At least 2 years work experience as Employment Counsellor / Recruiter in a recruitment agency.
Strong marketing and project management skills.
Proven records of establishing linkages to the employers and employment of the clients.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Result oriented.

Responsibilities
