Role Description The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing in-person assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports-related conditions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and using manual therapy and other modalities as appropriate. The role also involves documenting patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, educating patients on injury prevention and self-management, and participating in clinic initiatives that promote movement and wellness in the community. This is a full-time or part time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC, as an independent contractor.
Qualifications
- Member of the OPPQ in good standing
- Ability to design and progress individualized exercise programs and provide clear patient education on movement, posture, and injury prevention.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and build trust with patients.
- Solid documentation and organizational skills, including accurate charting and time management.
- Comfort working with a diverse patient population and providing inclusive, non-judgmental care.
- Bilingual English/French.
- Experience in private practice or community-based care is an asset, as is interest in sports rehabilitation or active populations.
