What You Do

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for supporting the General and Assistant Managers with the overall operations of the hotel focused on creating an exceptional employee experience and guest experience in a high performing operational environment.

You assist in building and maintaining a performance-based culture that embodies our company values, where team members are accountable to outcomes and where ideas and contributions are valued and appreciated
You are training, coaching and developing your team to be the best they can be in their roles:

Daily teaching, coaching and advising your team, providing feedback on a constant basis using our company feedback model
Addressing performance issues immediately with the support of management using coaching, training or discipline as the situation warrants, at the discretion of management or HR
Participating with management in performance reviews

You are building employee engagement through education and active promotion of our values and purpose, company benefits and employee programs. Align recognition to performance and contribution, and act as a culture champion for your property
Prepare weekly scheduling for your departments. Assist management in overseeing & monitoring all labour, payroll and scheduling and adapt based on fluctuating business needs
Flexibility to cover shifts as needed. Providing management (GM/HM/AM) coverage as needed
Ensuring effective communication between departments and other properties (as needed)

What You Need

Must be available weekends
Fun loving nature
1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
Post-secondary education in hospitality is considered an asset but not required
A love of team building and the ability to adapt and support the operation and leadership team
Able and capable of safely lifting, carrying and pushing heavy loads and a willingness to jump in to support the operation
Housekeeping experience preferred, but we will train the right person

Responsibilities

Support hotel management with housekeeping operations while helping deliver a strong employee and guest experience. Lead and develop the team, prepare schedules, monitor labor and payroll needs, and support communication and operational coverage.

Requirements

Weekend availability and a fun-loving, adaptable approach are required; supervisory experience of 1–2 years and housekeeping experience are preferred. Post-secondary hospitality education is an asset but not required, and the role requires the ability to safely lift, carry, and push heavy loads.
