Original job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.”

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

(Internal Title: Project Management IV)
Lead the POS design program from design development through to Issued for Construction (IFC), managing scope, schedule, resources, risks, and project interfaces.
Provide effective oversight and challenge of the Systems Contractor’s design delivery, ensuring outputs meet project requirements and quality standards.
Ensure design coordination and integration with civil works, track, signalling, Overhead Contact Systems (OCS), and third-party interfaces.
Drive the resolution of technical and program-related issues to maintain project progress and meet key milestones.
Manage design changes, ensuring impacts on scope, schedule, resources, and project delivery are appropriately assessed and addressed.
Provide clear and timely reporting to senior stakeholders on design progress, key risks, challenges, and overall program performance.
Manage and implement the assigned projects from inception through to completion.
Develop new project or program plans and expectations in consultation with and delegating deliverables to stakeholders, including clients.
Determine and manage the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully.
Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets.
Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the projects per project plans.
Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope, schedule, and budget.
Identify risks and entrench mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor and report on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines.
Evaluate the project's effectiveness by consulting with clients and other stakeholders.
Establish and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, key stakeholders, and operations.
Lead scope change negotiations.
Oversee ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution, and manage internal quality control checks for the project.
Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle.
