You will own the target-state reference architecture for the data platform across all platform layers and drive the architectural decisions that determine whether the platform proves out. You will collaborate with the Platform and Data Engineers to ensure the design is implementable as infrastructure as code, and with the Security and Compliance SME to ensure the architecture satisfies the controls of an Secure environment.

You will act as design authority, defending the architecture to infrastructure and security stakeholders on evidence rather than assertion. In this role, you are expected to be a SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. You will be responsible for team decisions and will engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Additionally, you are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Data & AI Platforms Strategy is required. Make and document component sourcing decisions so that each selection is defensible on support, patching and operational burden. Direct the technical work of the platform, data and security team members and adjudicate design trade-offs where the secure environment constrains the intended pattern.

You thrive in guiding teams to transform intricate data challenges into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that propel business success. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.
