Original job description

ARE YOU READY to step up and take your technology expertise to the next level?

There is never a typical day at Accenture, but that’s why we love it here! This is an extraordinary chance to create a rewarding career at Accenture Technology. Working in a digitally driven, innovation-led environment where you can help clients shift to the New using leading-edge technologies on some of the coolest projects you can imagine.

We are:

Accenture’s SAP practice, and we bring the New to life using design thinking, agile development methodologies, and the latest smart tech like IoT, automation, and AI. We even built myConcerto, a mix of SAP and Accenture that helps lead our clients to big wins. Ready to learn as much as you can? We train our people on "new" SAP like SAP Leonardo, S/4HANA and Cloud, and we offer classes and support through our 50,000+ member community. It’s also nice to know our hard work doesn’t go unrecognized. We’ve got over 70 SAP awards - more than any other partner - and we’re the leading business partner for SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Hybris, SAP FieldGlass, SAP Concur, and more. Visit us here to find out more about Accenture's SAP practice.

You are:

A transformation maven with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. Your superpower? Using your know-how to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.

The work:

Strategically define how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and systems.

Analyze, design and or implement data design and best practices through technology solutions. Aligned with data governance, predictive modeling, and or data visualization.

Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs, whether domain- or platform-led.

Work in a team where you wear lots of hats – interacting with clients, managing workstreams, collaborating with other teams – and where you may need to be in charge.

Run the workstream and/or project activities you’ve been given.

Interact with all workstreams – technical, reports, conversion, change management, project management and more.

Tweak current methods, tools and procedures to create solutions that meet clients’ needs.

Check business requirements to find configuration solutions.

Keep a record of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions.

Here’s what you need:

At least 10+ years experience in SAP FI including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA, with experience integrating with MM.

At least 3 years experience with S/4 HANA.

At least 5 year experience managing teams in a Global Delivery module.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to act as a Functional Solution Architect within the functional area, providing high-level design expertise.

Extensive experience in SAP S/4 transformations and a track record of successful project implementations.

Proven capability in defining SAP Finance functional roadmaps and strategies for clients.

Experience in leading business process reengineering efforts to optimize finance-related workflows and enhance process efficiency.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including C-suite executives, to present functional strategies and gain buy-in.

Must have federal government security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus points if:

You’ve got external consulting experience.

You bring experience with Greenfield implementations.

You know how SAP’s business development process works and you can help clients understand how SAP will help their company do more.

What’s in it for you:

Competitive benefits, including a fair and balanced parental leave policy.

Fantastic opportunities to develop your career across industries with local and global clients.

Performance achievement and career mentorship: our performance management process focuses on your strengths, progress and career possibilities.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,

role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time

employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The recruiting efforts for this position are intended to fill a brand new position.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.

It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.Information on benefits is here.
