- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- Clean and maintain work space

Responsibilities
Set up and operate EDM and other machines for repetitive machining, enter CNC toolpath parameters, and verify machined part dimensions with precision measuring instruments. Prepare etching solutions, maintain equipment, and keep the workspace clean.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 2 to less than 3 years of experience. Candidates need EDM equipment experience, attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, reliability, and the ability to multitask; steel-toed safety boots and personal transportation are indicated.
