Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor the purchase orders to ensure the goods are received on time.
- Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business performance.
- Ensure contract compliance necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
- Run MRP and monitor inventory to ensure the stock levels are maintained at the appropriate levels.
- Implement cost reduction measures to achieve target costs for materials, reduce the overall product cost.
- Support SRM processes including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
- Be actively involved in the product development and manufacturing process as well as implement cost reduction measures (design to cost, target costing, standardization, key data, etc.) to achieve the target costs for materials and reduce the overall material costs by fulfilling the necessary functions.
- Coordinate and plan the work orders with order processing and production team.
- Work with Production and R&D Team to ensure the BOMs (Bill of Materials) are up to date.
- Select and evaluate supplier performance according to Accuenergy supplier KPI metrics.
- Process order fulfillment or inventory associated tasks if required.
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
- Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Engineering or technical background is an asset, particularly in a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of procurement, purchasing processes, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of supplier networks, sourcing, and distribution processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Results- and solution-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Mandarin language proficiency is required to effectively communicate with overseas vendors.
- Ability to accommodate occasional communication with overseas vendors outside regular business hours, when business needs require it.
