Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business System Configuration Analyst (SAP) to join the Finance Systems team at IG Wealth Management. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration, finance systems analysis, and enterprise ERP support.

This role will focus on configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 8 Finance modules, including FI, AP, AR, CO, and MM, along with SAP Concur. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and technology partners to deliver effective solutions, support ongoing operations, and contribute to SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support SAP ECC Finance modules, including FI, AP, AR, CO, and MM.
• Support SAP Concur modules, including Expense, Request, and Reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and recommend suitable technology solutions.
• Analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into detailed system configuration and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, vendors, and delivery teams on solution design, integration, and implementation.
• Support large-scale ERP projects, system enhancements, production sustainment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including impact assessments, solution design, testing, data readiness, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
• Assess the impact of SAP configuration changes on finance processes, custom code, interfaces, and downstream integrations.
• Support test planning, test execution, defect triage, release coordination, and implementation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and help resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration and systems analysis.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 8.
• Extensive configuration experience with SAP Finance modules:
• SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
• SAP AP (Accounts Payable)
• SAP AR (Accounts Receivable)
• SAP CO (Controlling)
• SAP MM (Materials Management)
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP programs, production environments, and ongoing system enhancements.
• Hands-on experience supporting or delivering SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of S/4HANA Finance impacts, including Universal Journal, finance master and transactional data readiness, custom code assessment, and interface dependencies.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, system integration, and configuration impact assessment.
• Experience with functional testing, defect management, implementation, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business teams, developers, architects, and external vendors.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and Agile delivery environments.
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Concur, including Expense, Request, and Reporting.
• Knowledge of wealth management, banking, or financial services.
• Experience with SWIFT payments and financial integrations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and modern SAP reporting capabilities.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance migration, conversion, or selective transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting practices or a relevant accounting designation.
• Experience applying AI, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics to finance processes, including financial close, reconciliation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and workflow automation.
• Experience supporting change readiness, business process transformation, cutover coordination, and post-implementation stabilization.
