Job Title: Technical Lead – Treasury
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Onsite
Security Requirement: Must be eligible for Reliability Status Security Clearance and have resided in Canada for at least the past five years.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Treasury to lead treasury and payment system integrations, support production operations, and implement monitoring solutions to improve payment security and operational reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with treasury or payment platforms, data integration technologies, bank connectivity, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
•
Lead technical integration and support for treasury and payment platforms, such as Kyriba and Bottomline WebSeries.
•
Manage bank connectivity, banking portals, and payment processing workflows, including wire transfers, ACH/EFT, and cheque payments.
•
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data feeds, ETL pipelines, and integrations using Informatica IDMC, Informatica PowerCenter, APIs, and SFTP/file-based transfers.
•
Work with data repositories and integration processes to ensure accurate, secure, and reliable data exchange across treasury systems and banking platforms.
•
Design and implement rule-based and/or AI-enabled monitoring solutions using historical data to identify unusual activities, failed login attempts, anomalies, and unauthorized or unexpected changes made after payment approval.
•
Investigate payment processing issues, integration failures, and production incidents, driving root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
•
Provide operational and production support, including incident management, issue resolution, system monitoring, and service reliability improvements.
•
Collaborate with treasury, banking operations, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
•
Identify opportunities to automate monitoring, strengthen controls, and improve treasury system performance and operational processes.
Required Technical Skills
•
Treasury & Payments: Kyriba, Bottomline WebSeries, bank connectivity, banking portals, wire transfers, ACH/EFT, and cheque processing.
•
Data Integration & ETL: Informatica IDMC, Informatica PowerCenter, data feeds, data repositories, and ETL workflows.
•
System Integration: REST APIs, SFTP, and file-based data exchange.
•
Monitoring & Security Controls: Rule-based monitoring, anomaly detection, failed-login monitoring, and detection of post-approval payment changes.
•
Production Support: Incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and operational support for business-critical systems.
Mandatory Requirements
•
Must be eligible for Reliability Status Security Clearance.
•
Must have been in Canada for at least the past five years, subject to applicable clearance requirements.
•
Hands-on experience in treasury or payment platforms and related integrations.
•
Proven experience in operations support or production support.
