We are ACORP Group - a real estate company based in Toronto, Canada, focused on providing strategic and innovative solutions for tenants, landlords, investors, and developers in servicing residential, commercial, and luxury real estate across the Greater Toronto Area and internationally.
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Coordinator to help us with our social media and digital content.
This is a flexible, project-based opportunity - not a traditional full-time or part-time position with actual listed hours. The role is primarily focused on getting work done: creating and organizing content, managing social media, researching ideas and trends, and helping us improve our online presence.
We are a small and growing company, so we're looking for someone who can take on specific content and social media tasks independently, and also occasionally meet in Downtown Toronto to plan content, discuss strategy and analyze metrics.
What You'll Do
Depending on our current needs, your weekly work may include:
• Planning & scheduling content across multiple social media platforms.
• Managing and updating social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X, and others as appropriate.
• Helping develop our online presence with a content strategy based on our business, audience, market, and goals.
- Writing captions, adapting content for different platforms, and organizing a content calendar.
- Creating/editing graphics and other visual content for posts/reels/stories.
- Editing short videos for social media.
- Researching current social media trends, formats, and content ideas.
- Looking at competitors and other relevant accounts for ideas and opportunities.
- Reviewing existing content and suggesting practical and creative improvements.
- Tracking basic performance metrics and identifying what content is working.
- Experimenting with different content formats, ideas, hooks, captions, and approaches.
- Occasionally helping with photo/video shoots.
The exact mix of work will depend on what we are working on at the time.
Who We're Looking For
This role could be a great fit if you:
• Are a current student, recent graduate, or someone looking to build practical experience in social media and content (International students are also welcome to apply - you have to possess valid study and/or work permits).
• Have experience creating social media content, whether professionally, through school, university, for a personal account, or for a club, an organization, or a small business.
• Are comfortable with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Can create basic graphics and visual content using Canva, AI platforms, and/or similar tools.
- Have experience with short-form video creation or editing.
- Pay attention to what brands, creators, and businesses are doing on social media.
- Are organized and able to complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Can communicate clearly and write well in English.
- Are comfortable learning new tools, including AI tools and social media management platforms.
- Are interested in developing practical experience in marketing, content, branding, and real estate.
A specific degree is not required. We care more about what you can actually create and your ability to learn and get things done on time.
Hours & Compensation
This is a flexible, project-based job rather than a position with a fixed weekly schedule. We expect the role to involve a few hours of work per week, depending on the projects and tasks we're working on. Hours may vary from week to week.
This is a paid internship, with compensation based on the projects and deliverables involved. Compensation will be discussed with the selected candidate based on the expected scope of work.
Location & Meetings
Work will be completed remotely.
We do, however, ask to occasionally meet with us in Downtown Toronto, primarily around the King St. and Yorkville areas.
Meetings would generally take place on Friday mornings or afternoons a few times a month, with occasional additional meetings during the week when/if needed.
Show Us What You Can Do
Because this is a content-focused internship, we'd like to see examples of your work.
You do not need to have worked for a major company or brand. We're interested in seeing what you have actually created.
Examples can include:
- A personal Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account.
- A business or organization account you've worked on.
- A school or university project.
- Content created for a club or organization.
- Videos, graphics, campaigns, or other creative work.
- A portfolio, website, or Google Drive with examples of your work.
Briefly explain what you personally did and, where relevant, what the result was, or what you want us to know.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and examples of your work, along with brief answers to the questions.
We're interested in seeing your actual work and understanding how you approach content - not just reading through a resume.
