Position Details

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year. Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary:

• $21/hour

Responsibilities

• Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local grocery stores
• Share key product information and answer customer questions 
• Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
• Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts) 
• Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
• Complete reporting after each shift

Qualifications

• Must be available Saturday-Sunday
• Customer service or sales experience preferred 
• Ability to confidently approach consumers and communicate with people while delivering key messaging
• Ability to stand for the length of your shift (approximately 6 hours) and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
• Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and internet to complete reporting
• Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
• Access to a vehicle and being a driver is preferred. 
• Liquor certification is an asset (Smart Serve) 
• Food Safety certification is an asset
