Job Title: Method Agent Job Description

The Method Agent will work closely with other manufacturing engineering teams to develop and revise work methodologies. The role involves guiding these teams in ongoing optimization following the implementation of SAP to enable them to be more efficient in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Define and write work instructions.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and quality functions.
Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts, and risks of a change in production.
Ensure the feasibility of a change.
Plan and implement changes in production and coordinate the first unit in production.
Support daily production activities.
Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added values and optimize production.
Establish requirements for ergonomics, health/safety, tools, and production equipment according to optimal work methodology.
Participate in the development and updating of method procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement through the system to achieve excellence.
Animate, direct, and communicate all aspects related to the ANDON in progress on our assembly line.
Be responsible for Post Mortems following our ANDON and identify the necessary actions to limit the impact on the line.
Implement innovative solutions to improve processes while reducing costs.
Influence and facilitate communications between internal stakeholders.
Be an agent of change to promote the culture of internal customer service.
Participate in investigating and identifying the risks related to the service.
Be a leader of continuous improvement and problem-solving opportunities.
Manage priorities in relation to objectives.
Be responsible for synthesizing simple to complex situations to present them to different levels of management.
Create assembly books or manufacturing ranges intended for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components.
Interpret, verify, and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department.
Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
Define the tools required for manufacturing or assembling aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments and other methods functions of the organization.
Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience.
Knowledge of Catia, SAP, production support.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or DEC with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Aerospace experience.

Work Environment

Work with a team consisting of 50% FTC/FTP specialists and the rest as method agent ANDON, in closed offices near the production line.
