Project Manager – Infrastructure and Industrial Layout

Job Description

The Project Manager oversees and coordinates a variety of projects related to infrastructure, building layout, and industrial equipment installation within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with internal and external customers and suppliers to define project scopes, meet budget and schedule constraints, and ensure high-quality deliverables while minimizing impacts on operations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers to define and coordinate project scopes.
Develop creative solutions that respect customer constraints such as budget, schedule, and operational requirements.
Plan and coordinate projects related to building layout, workstation repairs, painting, production line modifications, and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage infrastructure projects, industrial equipment installation, and capital expenditure (capex) initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Coordinate work with internal stakeholders and external vendors for the execution of work orders and project tasks.
Minimize impacts and disruptions to operations and occupants during project execution.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) rules throughout the execution of all projects.
Provide end-to-end project follow-up from initial planning through to delivery of the solution to the customer, monitoring cost, schedule, and quality.
Document project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, construction teams, and suppliers to coordinate industrial equipment installation.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in an active manufacturing setting.
Support the tactical project management team on varied, smaller projects related to the building layout for the plant.
Coordinate work for projects such as desk repairs, building painting, production line changes, and infrastructure and building projects, without physically performing the work.

Essential Skills

3–10+ years of experience in project management related to infrastructure, capex, industrial equipment acquisition or installation, or building-related projects.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with internal and external clients in a client-facing capacity.
Strong budget management skills and experience monitoring project costs.
Experience managing infrastructure, equipment installation, or capex projects.
