- Manage package-related technical deliverables in alignment with established project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and risks are identified early.
- Review purchasing specifications and design documentation to confirm that procurement contracts support business needs, comply with internal engineering management plans, and enable a fair and competitive bidding process.
- Escalate project and technical risks as required to support supply chain and project objectives, providing clear communication and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the RFP and procurement process for long-lead and technically complex equipment packages, including preparation and review of technical documentation and evaluation criteria.
- Facilitate Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) to confirm package readiness prior to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), including reviewing open actions, verifying stakeholder alignment, and ensuring readiness criteria are met.
- Facilitate Cross Functional Reviews (CFRs) to review subcontract parts, identify required child parts, and support production planning, material readiness, and configuration completeness.
- Review and approve Shipping Configuration Lists (SCLs) to confirm that package scope, configuration, and supporting information are complete and aligned with project and procurement requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment package readiness, FAT preparation, and technical review processes, contributing to continuous improvement of package management practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project delivery, engineering governance, and procurement effectiveness.
Essential Skills

- Minimum of 56 years of professional engineering experience with complex engineered equipment.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills with the ability to develop clear technical specifications, procedures, scopes of work, and procurement documentation.
- Strong analytical skills to review design and technical information and support the development of Technical Purchasing Specifications, Scopes of Work, and related contract documents.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and other stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting procurement, tendering, RFP activities, or technical evaluation of equipment and services in an engineering environment.
- Ability to understand, manage, and work according to project schedules while progressing deliverables with limited supervision.
- Proficient digital literacy, including strong skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional reviews, communicate technical issues clearly, and drive closure of actions across stakeholder groups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
