Project Manager Infrastructure and Industrial Layout

Job Description

The Project Manager oversees and coordinates a variety of projects related to infrastructure, building layout, and industrial equipment installation within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with internal and external customers and suppliers to define project scopes, meet budget and schedule constraints, and ensure high-quality deliverables while minimizing impacts on operations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers to define and coordinate project scopes.
Develop creative solutions that respect customer constraints such as budget, schedule, and operational requirements.
Plan and coordinate projects related to building layout, workstation repairs, painting, production line modifications, and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage infrastructure projects, industrial equipment installation, and capital expenditure (capex) initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Coordinate work with internal stakeholders and external vendors for the execution of work orders and project tasks.
Minimize impacts and disruptions to operations and occupants during project execution.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) rules throughout the execution of all projects.
Provide end-to-end project follow-up from initial planning through to delivery of the solution to the customer, monitoring cost, schedule, and quality.
Document project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, construction teams, and suppliers to coordinate industrial equipment installation.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in an active manufacturing setting.
Support the tactical project management team on varied, smaller projects related to the building layout for the plant.
Coordinate work for projects such as desk repairs, building painting, production line changes, and infrastructure and building projects, without physically performing the work.

Essential Skills

310+ years of experience in project management related to infrastructure, capex, industrial equipment acquisition or installation, or building-related projects.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with internal and external clients in a client-facing capacity.
Strong budget management skills and experience monitoring project costs.
Experience managing infrastructure, equipment installation, or capex projects.

Développer des solutions créatives qui respectent les contraintes des clients, notamment le budget, léchéancier et les exigences opérationnelles.
Planifier et coordonner des projets liés à laménagement du bâtiment, aux réparations de postes de travail, aux travaux de peinture, aux modifications des lignes de production et aux projets dinfrastructure.
Gérer des projets dinfrastructure, des installations déquipements industriels et des initiatives de dépenses en capital (capex) dans un environnement manufacturier.
Coordonner le travail avec les parties prenantes internes et les fournisseurs externes pour lexécution des travaux et des bons de commande.
Minimiser les impacts et les interruptions sur les opérations et les occupants durant lexécution des projets.
Appliquer et faire respecter les règles de santé, sécurité et environnement (SSE) pendant toute la durée des projets.
Assurer le suivi de bout en bout des projets, de la planification initiale jusquà la livraison de la solution au client, en surveillant les coûts, les délais et la qualité.
Documenter lavancement des projets, préparer des rapports de statut et communiquer régulièrement les mises à jour à toutes les parties prenantes concernées.
Collaborer avec les équipes de production, de maintenance, de construction et les fournisseurs pour coordonner linstallation déquipements industriels.
Gérer plusieurs projets simultanés et des priorités concurrentes dans un environnement manufacturier actif.
Soutenir léquipe de gestion de projets tactiques dans la réalisation de projets variés de plus petite envergure liés à laménagement du bâtiment de lusine.

Compétences Essentielles

De 3 à 15+ années dexpérience en gestion de projets liés à linfrastructure, aux dépenses en capital (capex), à lacquisition ou à linstallation déquipements industriels, ou à des projets liés aux bâtiments.
Expérience démontrée en gestion de projets dans un environnement manufacturier.
Expérience de travail avec des clients internes et externes dans un rôle orienté vers le client.
Compétences en gestion de budget et suivi des coûts de projet.
Expérience dans la gestion de projets dinfrastructure, dinstallation déquipements ou de projets capex.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets et priorités simultanés dans un contexte opérationnel dynamique.
