Description

Commission, install, and support new Body Weld equipment at OEM facilities and machine vendor sites.

Perform robot teaching, robot programming (online/offline), and robot troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic to support equipment commissioning and production readiness.

Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and validation to ensure machines meet OEM standards and performance expectations.

Support Body Engineering teams during model change activities and new equipment launches.

Prepare, confirm, and validate new Body Weld equipment at vendor locations prior to installation.

Support Seibi activities from equipment installation through start of production (SOP).

Develop and implement equipment countermeasures during setup, trial runs, and production launches.

Provide hands-on support for automated robotic welding and material handling systems.

Travel to OEM manufacturing facilities throughout North America and occasionally Japan to support project activities, training, and equipment launches.

Maintain project documentation, equipment records, and reports using Microsoft Office tools.

Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues and optimize equipment performance.

Description
