Provide regular progress updates on assigned tasks to the supervising designer, ensuring transparency on status and issues.
Formalize, maintain, and update drawing documentation to reflect current design intent and revisions.
Periodically supervise the mechanical design effort at the project level, delegating tasks and guiding a small team of designers.
Organize project documentation, including quotes, project plans, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, and schedules for projects under your supervision.
Estimate time and resource requirements for design tasks and communicate these estimates to the Team Lead or Project Lead.
Contribute to the design of high-speed automation equipment and assembly machines incorporating servo systems, cylinders, bearings, robotics, vision systems, sensors, switches, and other mechanical and electrical devices.

Essential Skills

Proven mechanical design experience in automation environments.
Hands-on experience with machine design, including high-speed machinery and assembly machines.
