Job Title: Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

Onsite coverage as a team in shifts and/or weekly on-call.
Responding to high-severity events within SLAs.
Participate in data center power and cooling events.
Perform break-fix of servers and network devices.
Troubleshoot network connections.
Coordinate and build relationships with various data center teams.
Interact with third-party vendors and contractors.
Seek out ways to improve yourself and the processes and systems with which you work.
Contribute to the development of other team members.

Essential Skills

Strong computer hardware knowledge, troubleshooting and fixing issues with components such as RAM, CPU, motherboard.
Networking skills, including understanding of fiber optic, fiber tools, MAC address, DNS, servers.
Linux experience, basic knowledge is sufficient.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transport, as some sites are remote.

Additional Skills And Qualifications

Diploma or degree.
Scripting or programming experience.
Data center experience.
Web design or scripting skills, may be useful in the future.
Ability to read workflows.

Responsabilités

Compétences Essentielles

Solide connaissance du matériel informatique, dépannage et réparation de composants tels que RAM, CPU, cartes mères.
