Original job description

Actify is a workplace engagement platform designed to help employees build real connections through shared activities, wellness initiatives, events, and community experiences. We are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial individual to help establish Actify’s sales pipeline and market presence.

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable speaking with business owners, HR leaders, workplace-culture teams, and community partners and turning interest into pilot programs and paying customers.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute a practical sales and marketing plan for Actify.
Identify and contact prospective employer clients, particularly companies interested in employee engagement, wellness, and workplace culture.
Build and manage a sales pipeline from initial outreach through proposals, demonstrations, pilot programs, and onboarding.
Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations with prospective clients.
Attend local networking events, business meetings, and industry functions to create relationships and generate leads.
Create and coordinate marketing content for LinkedIn, email campaigns, presentations, and the Actify website.
Help refine Actify’s messaging, target audience, and value proposition based on real customer feedback.
Track outreach, leads, conversion activity, and marketing results, and provide regular reporting to the founder.
Work directly with the Actify team to communicate market feedback and help prioritize product improvements.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, marketing, or account management.
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
Experience selling software, employee benefits, HR services, wellness programs, or professional services is an asset.
Self-starter who can build structure, create opportunities, and work independently.
Practical understanding of LinkedIn outreach, CRM tools, email campaigns, and lead generation.
Genuine interest in workplace culture, health and wellness, social connection, or community-building.
Based in Kelowna or able to work effectively in the Okanagan market is preferred.

What Success Looks Like

In the first few months, success will include:

A clear target-customer list and outreach plan.
A functioning and consistently updated sales pipeline.
Qualified conversations with employers and workplace decision-makers.
Pilot opportunities and early paying customers.
Stronger, clearer messaging that explains why Actify matters to employers and employees.
