Solution Product Marketing Manager

Company Overview

ActiveProspect empowers marketers to identify and acquire prospects at scale. Our consent-based marketing platform helps brands and publishers during the lead buying and selling process by providing an all-in-one solution for TCPA compliance, data identification validation, lead orchestration, and vendor management. Our InfutorData (formerly Verisk Marketing Solutions) identity resolution and marketing intelligence data solutions address the challenges B2C marketers face in engaging their target audiences with timely, relevant messaging.

Job Summary

ActiveProspect is seeking a Solution Product Marketing Manager to lead market research, competitive intelligence, and solution strategy across its evolving portfolio of consent-based marketing, lead management and identity solutions.

This role will turn market, customer, product, and competitive insights into actionable strategies that strengthen ActiveProspect’s positioning, guide product and solution priorities, and support revenue growth. The successful candidate will understand complex customer problems, identify market opportunities, define differentiated solution narratives, and enable Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive teams to act on those insights.

The role is ideal for a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative product marketer who can move comfortably between research, business strategy, positioning, executive storytelling, and commercial execution.

Responsibilities include:

Solution Strategy

Define solution-level strategies that connect ActiveProspect’s products and capabilities to the business problems faced by performance marketers, lead buyers and lead sellers.
Translate individual product capabilities into cohesive solution narratives and customer outcomes.
Identify opportunities to package, bundle, cross-sell, and expand solutions across ActiveProspect’s portfolio.
Develop solution frameworks based on customer workflows, buying journeys, use cases, industry needs, and measurable business outcomes.
Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing leadership to prioritize strategic solution opportunities.
Create business cases and recommendations that connect market opportunities to target segments, buyer needs, competitive differentiation, revenue potential, and required capabilities.
Support pricing, packaging, portfolio, and commercialization decisions with market evidence and customer insight.
Help define solution roadmaps and investment priorities by articulating market demand and customer value.

Market research and customer insight
- Develop and maintain a structured market research program focused on customer needs, market dynamics, category trends, emerging use cases, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct customer interviews, win/loss interviews, surveys, focus groups, analyst research, expert interviews, and secondary research.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Marketing to identify knowledge gaps and prioritize research questions.
- Segment customer and prospect insights by industry, company size, use case, buying role, maturity, and revenue potential.
- Identify unmet needs, changing buyer expectations, emerging competitors, and opportunities to expand ActiveProspect’s total addressable market.
- Translate research findings into clear recommendations for product strategy, solution development, messaging, campaigns, content, and sales plays.
- Establish repeatable processes for capturing, synthesizing, sharing, and applying customer and market intelligence.

Competitive Intelligence
- Build and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence program covering direct competitors, adjacent solutions, emerging providers, partners, and internal alternatives.
- Monitor competitor positioning, product capabilities, pricing and packaging, partnerships, messaging, launches, content, customer proof points, and market activity.
- Develop competitive profiles, comparison frameworks, battlecards, objection-handling guidance, and executive briefings.
- Equip Sales and Customer Success with timely, accurate, and practical competitive insights through tools such as HighSpot.
- Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to identify competitive gaps, differentiation opportunities, and areas for product investment.
- Establish a regular cadence for sharing competitive updates with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure competitive claims are evidence-based, current, legally appropriate, and aligned with ActiveProspect’s brand standards.

Positioning and messaging
- Create and maintain positioning and messaging for strategic solutions, products, use cases, and target segments.
- Develop message maps, value propositions, proof points, elevator pitches, solution narratives, and audience-specific messaging.
- Clearly articulate how ActiveProspect helps customers improve lead quality, strengthen consent and compliance, orchestrate lead flows, enrich and validate identities, and improve marketing performance.
- Adapt solution messaging for executives, marketing leaders, operations teams, compliance stakeholders, sales teams, data teams, and technical audiences.
- Ensure messaging is consistent across the website, campaigns, sales materials, presentations, customer communications, thought leadership, and analyst interactions.
- Partner with Content, Demand Generation, Communications, and Product Marketing teams to turn strategic insights into market-facing programs.

Go-to-market and enablement support

Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new solutions, products, capabilities, partnerships, and market opportunities.
Provide research, positioning, competitive, and solution inputs for product launches and release communications.
Develop sales enablement materials, including solution briefs, battlecards, discovery guides, objection-handling content, pitch decks, use-case presentations, and executive conversation guides.
Train Sales and Customer Success teams on target buyers, market dynamics, competitive context, solution value, and discovery questions.
Partner with Demand Generation to shape campaigns that reflect customer priorities and connect to measurable business outcomes.
Support industry events, webinars, analyst briefings, executive presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
Use market and customer insights to improve campaign relevance, sales conversations, adoption, retention, and expansion.

Measurement and continuous improvement

Define success measures for market research, competitive intelligence, solution strategy, and enablement programs.
Track the impact of insights and strategy on pipeline creation, win rates, sales cycle progression, solution adoption, cross-sell, retention, and revenue expansion.
Gather feedback from Sales, Product, Customer Success, and customers to improve messaging, tools, and programs.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a concise, compelling, and decision-oriented format.
Build a culture of evidence-based decision-making across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

Qualifications and Skills

7+ years of experience in product marketing or business analytics in a SaaS environment with multiple products, preferably in the martech or adtech industry

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Strong understanding of data enrichment, data hygiene, identity resolution, data governance, or related domains
Experience in lead generation, performance marketing, or compliance-driven environments
Familiarity with APIs, data flows, data providers, identity graphs
Experience working with or marketing alongside platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or similar data marketplace and cloud providers
Proven track record of successful product launches and GTM campaigns.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in creating sales enablement tools and marketing content.
Expertise in using tool such as HighSpot, Gong, Salesforce, Monday.com, HubSpot and AI tools.
Customer obsession. You obsess over the customer's needs.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail; must be able to think creatively about issues to find a resolution.
Familiarity with consent-based marketing, lead generation, or marketing automation is highly desirable.
