Adecco is recruiting an Operations Analyst for our client, a growing Canadian company in the self-storage industry.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, building dashboards and finding practical ways to improve business performance. Working with senior operations staff, you’ll turn operational, financial and marketing data into insights that support decisions across multiple locations.
Self-storage experience is welcome, but our client is also open to candidates from other industries and multi-site operations environments who bring the right analytical skills.
What you’ll do:
- Collect, clean and analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Use Python to automate data collection, recurring reports and routine analysis.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.
- Track performance measures, including occupancy, revenue and operational KPIs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis.
- Research market conditions and potential acquisition and development opportunities.
- Work with operations and leadership teams to understand reporting needs and communicate findings clearly.
- Maintain data accuracy, document reporting processes and support process improvements and CRM implementation.
What you’ll bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, analytics or a coordinator role. Relevant internship or academic experience will also be considered for entry-level candidates.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation, including libraries such as pandas or NumPy.
- Experience creating dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Looker or a similar platform.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions and formulas.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field is preferred. SQL knowledge is an asset.
Work arrangement: Onsite, five days per week
