Adecco is Hiring – Intermediate Production Accounting Analyst (Contract)
Are you an experienced Production Accountant with strong Petrinex expertise and a passion for production data, regulatory compliance, and problem-solving? We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Production Accounting Analyst to support a high-profile energy industry project in Calgary.
- Location: Calgary, AB (Downtown)
- Work Model: Onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote
- Contract Duration: November 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027
- Hours: 38.5 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on production accounting, Petrinex, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Analyze and resolve complex production reporting, compliance, and data-quality issues
- Reconcile discrepancies and identify root causes while recommending corrective actions
- Support system, process, and data enhancements through assessment and testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders across industry, regulatory, and technical teams
- Manage volumetric reporting non-compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Key Deliverables:
✔ Accurate production and infrastructure reporting
✔ Resolution of complex reporting, compliance, and data-quality issues
✔ Production accounting and regulatory guidance
✔ Testing and validation of system and process changes
✔ Continuous improvement of production data and reporting processes
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Production Accountant
- Hands-on experience with Petrinex or
- Volumetric & Infrastructure Reporting expertise
- Regulatory Reporting & Compliance knowledge
- Production Data Analysis & Reconciliation experience
- Strong Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis skills
- Systems/Process Testing experience
- CAPPA Certification preferred
