Job Description

ADGA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support complex projects involving integrated technologies and systems.

The successful candidate will manage an assigned portfolio of projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, initiation, options analysis, implementation, and in-service support. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered within established time, cost, performance, quality, and risk parameters.

This role requires a strong project management professional with demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects involving hardware integration, software integration, software development, and/or systems engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to define requirements, manage risks, support procurement activities, and provide clear and actionable reporting on project progress.

This is a proactive recruitment initiative, with potential start dates in the coming weeks or months, contingent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Manage an assigned portfolio of projects throughout the planning, initiation, options analysis, implementation, and in-service support phases.
Ensure projects are delivered within established scope, schedule, budget, performance, quality, and risk parameters.
Formulate problem statements and requirements and establish procedures for the development and implementation of new or modified project elements.
Manage key project management disciplines, including:
- Scope
- Schedule
- Cost
- Quality
- Risk
- Resources
- Procurement
Identify and manage integration requirements involving hardware, software, software development, and systems engineering activities.
Ensure project activities and dependencies are tracked to support successful delivery within approved time, cost, and performance parameters.
Provide input into project approval documentation, including requirements identification, concepts of operations, project scope, options analysis, technical considerations, risk identification, mitigation strategies, and cost estimates.
Support procurement activities through the development of procurement strategies, Statements of Work, and evaluation criteria.
Define and document project objectives, budgetary requirements, project team composition, roles, responsibilities, and terms of reference.
Monitor and report on project progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare recurring project status reports detailing schedule, cost, performance, risk, quality, and other key project indicators.
Collaborate with stakeholders and other project managers to identify, analyze, and resolve project issues.
Prepare project plans, charts, tables, diagrams, and other documentation to support project planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Utilize project management tools to plan, monitor, track, and report on project activities.
Support projects involving integrated special operations environments and complex multi-domain capabilities.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager performing responsibilities consistent with an intermediate-level project management role.
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing at least five of the following project management disciplines including: Scope, time, cost, quality, risk, staff and resource management and procurement
A minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the past 60 months supporting projects involving at least three of the following:
- Hardware integration
- Software integration
- Software development
- Systems engineering
A minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the past 60 months providing:
- Requirements documentation
- Options identification and analysis
- Risk management
- Performance management, including scope, cost, and schedule management
A minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the past 60 months providing project management support to systems supporting integrated special operations.
Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and project dependencies.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience preparing project management plans, status reports, schedules, risk registers, and other project documentation.
Experience working with project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

Additional Information

Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Secret (Level III) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance, VCR’s and Controlled Goods clearances.
- If you do not currently hold the required security clearance ADGA can initiate the clearance process on your behalf; however, you will not be eligible for hire until the clearance has been successfully obtained.
The posted salary reflects an employee compensation model and is flexible based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and level, from Intermediate to Senior. Consultant rates will be adjusted accordingly. We will consider candidates for either employment or consultant arrangements. Consultants will be required to hold a Controlled Goods clearance and Insurance.
