Original job description

Audio-Visual Technical Support Specialist – Service Department

📍 Boucherville, QC | Full-Time | On-Site

🌎 Bilingual French & English required

Why You'll Love Working Here

Love figuring out how technology works - and why it sometimes doesn't?

ADI Pro is looking for an Audio-Visual Technical Support Specialist to join our Service Department in Boucherville.

You'll work hands-on with professional audio, video, broadcast and streaming technologies while helping customers troubleshoot problems, managing RMA cases, coordinating replacement parts, and performing minor product diagnostics and repairs.

You'll receive ongoing product and manufacturer training as you continuously expand your technical expertise.

What You'll Do

Provide technical support and troubleshooting through Zendesk/ticketing systems and email.
Manage support tickets and maintain regular customer follow-ups.
Receive, inspect, test and document defective products with approved RMA numbers.
Perform minor on-site diagnostics and repairs when appropriate (ie: woofer, tweeter, amp module, capsule, PCB; non-component level)
Coordinate RMA cases and keep customers informed throughout the service process.
Process replacement-part orders and ensure timely shipment.
Conduct regular parts inventories and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Maintain accurate customer and service records in our ticketing and WordPress-based CRM systems.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Collaborate with Sales and Service team members to resolve customer issues.

Who We're Looking For

You're someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and helping people.

You're organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing several priorities at once. Just as importantly, you understand that great technical support means keeping customers informed and following an issue through to resolution.

We're looking for:

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant technical support, AV/audio, electronics, service or related experience.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of professional audio and/or audiovisual equipment.
Excellent French and English, written and spoken.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Experience with Zendesk, ticketing platforms, WordPress/CRM account management, RMA processing, minor electronics repair, or inventory management is an asset.

You don't need to know every product on day one. A strong technical foundation, curiosity, and willingness to learn are equally important.

What We Offer

Competitive salary based on experience and technical expertise.
Hands-on experience with technologies from world-renowned manufacturers.
Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development.
Career growth opportunities.
A collaborative and innovative work environment.

Ready to Join Us?

If you enjoy troubleshooting technology, helping customers, and growing your technical career in the professional AV industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and tell us why you'd be a great addition to the ADI Pro team.
