Production Laborer

Operations
Full-time, Hourly
Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and reference check.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cleaning
- Sweeping
- Vacuuming
- Lubrication
- Handling containers and bags weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
- Must be able to progress to a Process Operator position on rotating shifts within 90 days of hire
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements

- Basic computer and math skills
- Must be proactive and participate in food safety programs
- Learn and follow company policies and work procedures
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to climb stairs and use ladders
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights
- Able to bend, kneel, and squat
- Able to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and dusty environments
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required by management
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma (DES)
- Minimum 6 months of experience
Additional Information
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and participation in safety improvement initiatives
- Work in compliance with local and provincial regulations
- Understands health, safety, and environmental requirements and is responsible for full compliance
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must be able to maintain that authorization
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position
