Business Development Manager – Automotive Parts

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan Territory: Saskatchewan and Manitoba

About Us

Advantage Parts Solutions creates exceptional value with exceptional people. For nearly 40 years, we’ve helped automotive dealerships, collision centres, and repair facilities strengthen business relationships, improve performance, and drive profitable growth.

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional to manage and develop our Prairies territory. If you enjoy winning business, building relationships, using technology to solve problems, and taking ownership of your results, this is an opportunity to build a market and grow your earnings alongside it.

The Opportunity

Based in Regina, you’ll develop new business and support existing customers across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. With customer partnerships already established, you’ll have a foundation to build on and opportunities to expand across both provinces.

This is a hands-on, consultative role for someone who is equally comfortable building relationships in the field, analysing business performance, and turning insights into action.

Travel Requirements

Expect approximately two weeks per month in Manitoba, generally driving there on Monday and returning Friday, with overnight hotel stays during the week. Regular customer visits and travel throughout Saskatchewan are also part of the role.

You must be comfortable with frequent driving and extended periods away from home. A valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, presentations, and closing agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with dealerships, collision centres, and repair facilities through regular face-to-face visits and ongoing support.
  • Understand customers’ parts purchasing and sales challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve their operations and profitability.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet targets and expand our customer base.
  • Use CRM systems, Excel, reporting platforms, and AI tools to identify opportunities, assess customer results, and guide sales activity.
  • Plan efficient travel routes, maintain accurate sales records, and follow through on customer commitments.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of outside sales or business development experience, with a track record of growing sales and winning business.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to organise your schedule and take ownership of results.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, AI tools, and reporting platforms to manage sales activity and improve business performance.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse business data, understand performance trends and return on investment, and use those insights to recommend practical solutions.
  • Availability for the driving and overnight travel schedule described above.

Automotive dealership, collision, repair, or parts experience is preferred. We also welcome candidates from other industries who bring proven sales ability and a willingness to learn.

What We Offer

  • Annual earnings of $60,000–$70,000 CAD, including base pay and commission, with uncapped earning potential as you grow the market.
  • Car allowance, fuel card, and allowances for business travel expenses
  • Paid training and ongoing support from an experienced team.
  • Extended health, dental, and life insurance benefits.
  • Paid time off and company-paid holidays.
  • Autonomy to manage your territory and opportunities for professional development.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture that values relationships, ownership, innovation, and results.
