Advanced Bending Technologies is looking for an experienced and energetic Logistics Coordinator to join our department Calgary, Alberta.

The Role:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the critical aspects of projects including the coordination of shipping and receiving of purchased materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owning the Shipping & Receiving process
• Coordinate shipments with customers and carriers
• Receive customer-supplied products and verify against customer requirements
• Performing incoming inspection on purchased product 
• Purchasing materials, supplies and transportation services
• Coordinating the inventory of stock material for cold bending, and assisting with the inventory of stock material for induction bending
• Assisting with the coordination of preventive maintenance records
• Working in accordance with documented policies and procedures
• Completing all applicable quality records
• Generating packing slips, calculate weights, determine dimensions
• Ensuring shipments are packaged according to customer requirements
• Maintaining daily shipping log
• Maintaining inventory of shop supplies
• Working in accordance with the quality management system

What You Bring:

• Purchasing, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control, purchasing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and persuasively
• Ability to project and maintain a professional corporate image to clients, vendors and fellow employees
• Self-starter, with the ability to work efficiently in a team or matrix environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented, analytical, with good organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Bending processes, materials knowledge, shop procedures
• Computer experience
• Prior experience with MS Word/Excel
