Job Description

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist to support our Water Business Line out of our Burnaby, BC office.

As a BIM specialist for the Water Business Line you will be a champion for:

Engaging with capture teams by providing BIM subject matter expertise on Enterprise Critical Pursuit.
Assessing the current BIM state and maturity of digital and design on projects
Team development and mentoring.
Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements.
Work with linear and vertical design teams to develop BIM standards and specifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of BIM Mechanical experience, or a Diploma/Certificate and 4 years BIM Mechanical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or engineering technologist diploma 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience including BIM leadership in the water and wastewater AEC space.
Critical thinking to identify issues, present solutions and follow through to ensure completion.
Experience in executing designs for water or wastewater treatment plants
Executing multi discipline design projects within BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Extensive experience with Revit and Plant3D
Experience with Automated design using Dynamo, Orkestra and Grasshopper
