What is the Opportunity?

Aecon Civil is proud to be supporting the Mactaquac Life Achievement Project, a multi-billion-dollar hydroelectric rehabilitation project of major importance to New Brunswick. This landmark initiative will help extend the life of the Mactaquac Generating Station and support the province’s long-term energy infrastructure.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the BIM Coordinator will support digital design coordination and model integration throughout the design phase of this significant hydroelectric rehabilitation project.

What You’ll Do Here:

Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines.
Ensure model alignment with design requirements and standards.
Support clash detection and coordination processes.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and consultants.
Maintain BIM standards and protocols.
Assist in model reviews and updates.
Support data management and model documentation.
Participate in coordination meetings.
Ensure consistency across digital deliverables.

What You Bring to the Team:

Post-secondary education in engineering, architecture, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of BIM coordination experience.
Experience on infrastructure projects.
Experience in hydroelectric projects is a major asset.
Strong knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
Strong coordination and communication skills.

Requirements
