Monitor production schedules and workforce utilization to achieve shop productivity and delivery targets.
Verify proper surface preparation, abrasive selection, coating application methods, and curing requirements.
Ensure coating systems are applied in accordance with project specifications, including zincs, epoxies, polyurethanes, and specialty coatings.
Conduct quality inspections including surface profile verification, wet film thickness (WFT), dry film thickness (DFT), and visual inspections.
Coordinate material requirements, coating inventories, abrasives, and consumables to support production activities.
Ensure coating and blasting equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and operated safely.
Lead toolbox talks, daily safety discussions, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as required.
Train, mentor, and support workforce development, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with fabrication, welding, quality, and project teams to ensure production priorities are met.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and workforce documentation.
