What is the Opportunity?
Aecon is proactively seeking a Cost Control Manager to join the Urban Transportations Solutions group to support future dynamic, transit projects in Canada. We are proud to support projects that are committed to faster and more convenient travel, ultimately improving transportation experiences. This starts with bringing aboard the best possible team!
What You'll Do Here:

Provide guidance to project controls and operations/project management teams to recognize emerging issues, leverage lessons learned and drive toolset/process adoption, ensure accuracy of key project metrics.

Oversees and supports project change management, including subcontractor claims, change requests, claims and dispute resolution.

Hire, supervise, coach, develop and mentor project controls personnel (ie Project Controls Specialist, Lead, Cost Controller, Planner / Scheduler).
What You Bring to The Team:

10+ years construction industry experience; Experience on metro, subway, LRT, or urban transit infrastructure projects is deemed an asset,

Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, estimating and cost control.
Reason for vacancy: Evergreen
The expected pay range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialist training, and the complexity or scope of the role
