Original job description
Who We Are:

The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.

- Operate railway track measurement trolley systems and other track survey equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate field records, survey reports, and survey documentation.
- Perform routine checks and verification of survey equipment before and after use.
- Comply with project specifications, survey procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.
Experience You Will Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in construction surveying.

- Experience performing construction layout, as-built, and control surveys.
- Understanding survey control networks, traversing, adjustments, and quality control procedures.
