Junior Civil Engineer – Pre-Cast Facade Panels (Recent Graduate)
Company Overview We are a growing engineering firm specializing in high-performance lightweight pre-cast concrete facade panels. Our systems combine structural integrity, insulation, and sustainable construction practices for commercial and residential building envelopes. The engineer position will work as a product manager, developing the product up to commercialization readiness.

Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated recent Civil Engineering graduate to join our facade engineering team. You will support the design, detailing, testing, and production of pre-cast concrete facade panels. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate who wants hands-on experience in structural design, precast technology, and building envelope engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the product development milestones, R&D and product certification path
- Engineer the concrete design mix
- Assist in the structural design and analysis of pre-cast facade panels (load calculations, reinforcement detailing, connections)
- Prepare shop drawings, technical submittals, and production specifications using AutoCAD / Revit
- Support quality control during panel manufacturing and casting
- Participate in load testing, durability assessments, and material performance evaluations
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and production teams
- Help develop innovative facade solutions for thermal performance, acoustic control, and seismic/wind resistance
- Conduct site visits for installation support and troubleshooting
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our pre-cast systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (recent graduate – 0 to 2 years experience)
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, concrete technology, and building codes
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) – experience with structural analysis software is a plus
- Knowledge of precast concrete or facade systems is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Eligible to work in Canada
