We’re looking for a Manager, Wealth Strategies, to oversee sales, service, and advice delivery activities along with the performance of Affinity Wealth Management. This role will be responsible for providing leadership for effective sales, business development, employee development, and execution of Wealth priorities. They will focus on overall quality of the member experience, sales management, and coaching for sales, service, and advice specific to Wealth solutions.

What you’ll do

Oversees practice management, sales coaching and serve as a sales development resource to the Wealth Specialist and/or Investment Specialist roles to deliver remarkable member experience, drive sales, grow the portfolio, and deepen member relationships.
Leads a team responsible for the growth of the organizational Wealth portfolio including new member growth, by utilizing metrics, performance indicators and Wealth business practice standards.
Demonstrates an advanced understanding of financial planning concepts and coach leaders to the use of wealth planning software and the creation of financial plans.
Supports implementation of Wealth Strategies through market segmentation approaches and product decisions; provides leadership and guidance to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans.
Collaborates across channels and org units, ensuring seamless integration and flow of work between Wealth teams, Contact Centre, Advice Centres, and Business Advisory to add value to members.

What you’ve got

Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional business operations
Advanced knowledge of financial planning, wealth strategies, investment solutions, advice centre operations, and financial products and services
Industry leading sales ability in growing a book, achieving targets, making referrals, and building a pipeline using a member centric approach
Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable to achieve member centric outcomes
